SISU is an 49ft expedition sailing yacht currently adventuring in arctic waters.

Planning Sail & Ski trip to remote location in Northern Norway? Mountaineering expedition to Greenland? Circumnavigating Svalbard by kayak? Fishing in Lofoten? Hiking, diving, nature exploration, film production or photography mission? SISU is the support vessel and expedition basecamp for your adventure in high arctic. The yacht is available with a skipper for private expeditions, groups, guides, guiding- and adventure travel companies, etc. As an individual adventurer you may attend to any of the cool trips run by our commercial partners.

You may also join an arctic sailing adventure as a crew member on our sailing adventures, offshore passages or coastal cruising legs.

The Adventure yacht SISU of Arctic

SISU is Ovni 495 by Alubat, and like all Ovnis, she is made for full-on ocean crossings and can operate independently for significantly long voyages.

In addition to blue water sailing capabilities, she is also designed for arctic waters and has lot of the features of true arctic adventure base camp; aluminium hull, proper insulation, double heating &, warm water system, mudroom, boot dryers, ski service kit, generator, water maker, espresso machine and so on.
